I felt that I had downloaded the entire ISO, because thje K3B MD sum did

i was experiencing this bug too but i don´t know if this bug are fixed
in newer upgrades, when i´m copying DVD, cp /dev/hdb
/mnt/videofiles/file.iso in some sector this file and dmesg show a lots
of lines showing "read error"

I m using ubuntu 9.04 on the same laptop. Installed it on speed mode
(i.e. nvidia card) then when I booted it up on stamina I get GUI options
to deal with it. I had two choices namely:
1. Temporarily start my computer in low graphics mode. (started on 800x600
instead of 1280x800 and no desktop ef
Today's updates seemed to fix this issue.
