While automatic login enabled in login screen settings dialog, "Lock
screen" option is disabled and inaccessible from indicator applet
session. However user has a password, and he should be able to lock
computer even if autologin enabled.
Seems to work ok on current karmic. The help file opens file when called
both from empathy itself and from "yelp ghelp:empathy".
I'm closing the bug but please feel free to reopen it if you still have
the problem.

Re: Comment #82 - I agree there is a workaround, but that doesn't mean
the software works as expected.
The issue is not whether the network works by using a workaround, but
that as the default network management package in Kubuntu the software
MUST offer the user the option to enter the WEP ASCII

I've been able to re-generate the pdf, so the immediate problem is

After the successful connections, if you disconnect and connect again,
most of the time blueman will show failed to connect. This is very
critical issue. we need to find out the root cause for this issue.

both Jaunty 32bit desktop and UNR from their release ISOs/imgs.

clear: withOUT KMS, the console is gone; with KMS, the console is back.

When trying to activate a proprietary driver for Broadcom BCM4312 wifi
adapter on Ubuntu Karmic (tested Alpha 3, Alpha 5 and Beta), it fails.
It tries to open a windows which supposedly downloads and installs the

I thought the future of kairmode was done with the new knetworkmangler
stuff from openSUSE. at least that is what I was told on IRC right after
the initial release of kairmode. Though going through knetworkmangler, I
don't see the stuff to do it.

In an effort to isolate problems on my system, I have:
(1) temporarily removed amarok and its two helper packages
(2) restarted the system
