grub2 takes about 40 seconds to show the selection window, and another 5
seconds to start loading a selected OS.
During this 'wait' time the hard disk works so loud that I can hear it from

How to reproduce the bug:
1. Add a nautilus bookmark to a share directory on another active PC (in this
instance, a Windows PC)

I have now tested this in mythtv-trunk from SVN, where I do not
experience this. If I uninstall, and run the ubuntu version, I get the
same problem. The buttons dissapear, I see only the striped background,
but navigating and using the menus work, as I end up "where I am
supposed to" after pressi

I ahev subscribed Apport upstream developers and Canonical Desktop Team.
I think this is the way to bring this bug to their attention. I am also
making the bugs mentioned before duplicates of this, otherwise they're
