Solved: pulse audio support for flash 10 in firefox 3.5.x (no sound and
crashes)
Tested with: flashplugin-installer/flashplugin-nonfree combo as well as
adobe-flashplayer.
Problem: no matter what you try, firefox plays for a short while with no
sound and freezes/crashes while attempting to play

Same problem here on AMD64 alternate downloaded today (7/Dec/09). I am
shocked to see that this bug has been around for so long and is not
fixed. It is a BIG problem as it happens AFTER the partitioner wipes

I can confirm this on my macbook 1,1 with an intel GMA950. X broke after
some update: I also had only stripes on the screen and this even
affected all tty consoles. I could only boot back into a console by
first chrooting from a live CD and removing kdm. The problem seems
indeed xorg/driver

Sorry, forgot about this one.
I switched to wicd, and the problem no longer occurred. (And wicd
provides a nice no X-server needed WiFi connection interface.)
Also, IIRC, that was an older kernel used in the Jaunty alpha release.
Anyhow, as far as I'm concerned, it's no longer a problem.

Sorry for my mistake, i would say to clean /tmp.
In my case, the /tmp is no more cleaned since Ubuntu Karmic.
So, i was looking for bootclean.sh like Debian does.
Here's my structure:
sda + sda Kernel Raid1 Cryptsetup LVM /tmp
w...@willo:/etc/init$ df -hT /tmp/
FilesystemTypeSize
