Using your preferred editor (vi, nano or whatever) - I will use nano as

I finally found what causes the "Could not open location; you might not
have permission to open the file" when auto playing a DVD. In XFCE, go
to the Removable Drives and Media setting (Applications, Settings) and
then on the multimedia tab, change the default command for Video
CDs/DVDs from "tot

graphire3 doesn't work properly. Whenever I click using the pen, the mouse
stops working when I hover over the tablet. I have to move the pen a good

The issue is not always reproducible, seems arbitrary.
To clarify, reproduction steps:
1) Boot system to login screen.
2) Suspend.
3) Resume.
4) If system is not hung, go back to (2).
Eventually it will hang on a blank screen, after which nothing helps.

This bug appears to be a duplicate to # 479044. Both bugs keep getting
closed where the developers ask the poster to enable apport for an
additional bug. I have enable apport but no additional bug appears to
be filed but I do have crash reports now.

This is a fresh install of 9.10 on an HP Slimline s3100e PC with
I just reinstalled Karmic on this system, updating with apt-get. The
cardbus slot still does not work, and the warning messages are still
being appending to kern.log every second.

"Show my windows and tabs from last time" for the "When Firefox starts:"

Thanks, friend. I took your advice and enabled apport, restarted, and
reproduced the crashes. I am not sure what apport did (unless it was
all behind the scenes), but I do now have three crash reports which are
attached for diagnosis and review.

When I exit, Firefox asks "Do you want Firefox to save your tabs...?". I
choose "Save and Quit," but when I restart Firefox I get my default
tabs, not the set that was open when I quit.
