I've had this problem in Lucid for about a week now. It started sometime
during the updates to Gnome 2.30. It's exactly what other people are
experiencing too: selected pointer theme is not honored when Compiz is
active and the cursor is over any GTK window. Definitely a bug.

In version 2.11.2.1 (Lucid) the keyboard shortcuts for image rotation in
fullscreen mode (e, r, m) are not working. I agree that this version is
very slow compared to past versions especially when loading large images
and viewing directories containing large numbers (> 4000) of images.

Actually, this is called "Applet de notification" in French
(Notification applet) and is written by Canonical, which is different

Keyboard Layout, as I understand it, allows you to show what language is
selected at this time. People who write in English only, do not need to
Keyboard Layout. All the rest need a Keyboard Layout enabled by default,
because the system is used not
