I have had another occurance of the screen corruption. This time it was
a simple mouse movement.

Basically using MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME environment variable instead of

hi there, i redid the package based on the one from Debian Multimedia
and updated it against current SVN. i converted it to debhelper 7 and
the new source format. ffmpeg is done statically with the version
shipped by upstream, isn't that nice but it's recommended and should be
better supported.

I am closing this as invalid[1]. In general, programs should work
without requiring a particular environment variable is set. Secondly it
is impossible for update-java-alternatives to update the variable of any
running terminal or X11 session. Also, as I recall, messing with

Thanks benbowman for your suggestion. However adding nomodeset single
does not bring my 2.6.31-21 back to life (it's in an installation
upgraded from 9.10), and the booting sequence still hangs at around
[5.61] second, when mounting the /home partition, and then the
prompt won't show up, just
