the ssd has a sandforce controller with buildin compression. Sequential
speeds for random data are ~200MB/s read, ~130MB/s write. 4k random data
write with one thread is ~55MB/s, ~115MB/s with 64 threads. It looks
like the encryption transforms the 0-data stream in a more or less
random data

I have several machines, one of them on Maverick and the others on
Lucid. All of them have the same problem. I can install the drivers, but
as soon as I run the update it wants to remove them because the
dependencies are not met.
What information is required to allow developers to do something
Jiri, it is fair that it has a high CPU percentage if nothing else is
using CPU. The original problem that it was making the system sluggish
has been resolved, therefore this report should stay closed. Open new
bugs for other issues.

I am encountering this bug in the latest version of netbook remix. On
initial install it worked fine, when I installed fglrx, netbook remix
started to segfault. I can otherwise use the system fine, just netbook-
launcher is failing.

(e.g. dead-end situation) when a non-technical user hits it that I
thought I'd report it here as well as upstream on the Adobe bug
tracker*. It may also be fixable at
Renaming .gtkrc-2.0 or deinstalling qtcurve doesn't fix inkscape for me.
But both comix and anjuta start without issues here, even with qtcurve
activated. Perhaps these crashes aren't as related as the final error
message makes them appear...

Not sure if this will help but I've just run another update and got the
errors with Likewise-open again although it appears to be installed

psypher: Turning off swap definitely doesn't help for me as I've tried
