I have the same problem since I installed Ubuntu 11.04. Almost every
time I open the lid of my laptop (computer on, not suspended) the screen

finish scrolling by I am dumped at a TTY login prompt. Can log in, but no GUI,
am stuck in terminal. This machine has 1 GB of ram and a 7 GB hard drive. It

I have resolved this problem and it is not a part of compiz/gnome, window
decorations etc...
The problem was in the Ambiance Revolution theme, which has explicitly set
title_vertical_pad to 0. Since it is as issue with the Ambiance Revolution
theme which is not an official theme in Ubuntu i gues
_FORTIFY_SOURCE used in ubuntu (but not in debian) somehow breaks parsegen.
natty is also not affected.
the simple fix would be to just disable the fortification for the 3 files it
compiles.

I don't think hiding dependencies in qemu-common is a good idea.
qemu-user does not depend on qemu-common but qemu-common is supposed to
pull docs as well - does qemu user not need those? And where are those,
anyway?
qemu-kvm and qemu-user both depend on qemu-common and the former also
depends on
