In KDE 4.7.4, with blur and Open GL 2 on, effects are too slow and
automatically disabled.

I just tested 3.5 beta 1.
LOdev 3.5.0, Build-ID: 7362ca8-b5a8e65-af86909-d471f98-61464c4
The non-printing characters still vanish after pdf export or print.
After pdf export the reappear after restart of LO or after pressing the
button. However, after print the bug is still there.

I couldn't sleep, so I decided to dig into this "smartcam won't compile
on Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit" issue a bit deeper and searched the web. Maybe
you'll find the thing I found as interesting as I do - however I'm not
quite sure, whether it's really about the same problem that I have on my

I definitely think that this is an issue that should be fixed for 12.04
lts. This is one of my biggest annoyances with Unity, and I do not
believe it would be that hard to change. Am I the first person to notice
this issue, or are the shut-down/logout/lock-screen/restart buttons
there on purpose?

I have re-checked the DEB files and the one that was in the
/var/cache/apt could not be opened, MC complained that the file was
corrupt. I then downloaded the file again the the kernel.org mirror,
made sure it could open with MC and then did an "apt-get upgrade" it
installed the file properly then.
The proper solution here is to decouple the default text colors from the
GTK theme. As pointed out earlier, an LibO document should look the same
on any computer, provided the requisite fonts are installed.
Since this bug is getting ignored upstream, and since it's particularly
apparent on Ubuntu

Notice most comments are about Natty however I experience the same
