based wireless card. it uses the broadcom sta driver (wl).
- My problem is that network manager won't (re)scan the wireless network list

I finally upgraded this Dell Dimension E510 from Ubuntu 10.04 LTS to
12.04.1 LTS and was distressed that when I clicked the Dash Home icon I
see a flash across the top portion of the screen (maybe down to the
second or third icon in the dock), but nothing apparently happens.
Without the usb mouse plugged in, before issuing the boot command, can

I understand that this might seem to be a weird fluke bug and I know you
all are extremely busy, but Tomboy is effectively completely broken for
me. I hope this would be taken seriously. I've tried uninstalling and

Not able to SHIFT click when renaming a file.
To manage notifications
It's gotten worse now, it pops up continuously even if you close the
dialog and, even worse, it locks the focus so you can't switch to the
other window. I had to switch to tty console and kill it from there to
be able to regain the control over the desktop.
Also it looks very dodgy when it shows
