Public bug reported:
Hi,
I have reinstalled Ubuntu 14.04 but I have the same audio problem... no audio
from speakers.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04
Package: alsa-base 1.0.25+dfsg-0ubuntu4
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.13.0-24.46-generic 3.13.9
Uname: Linux 3.13.0-24-generic i686
I think I understand the problem. No package in the linux-signed-generic
chain of dependencies actually depends on linux-firmware.
