If I understand your post correctly, the "second" bug was introduced in
0.19. Was this "second" bug fixed in 0.19.1 by "Prevent cross thread
write after free in _OnReadable() (#731752)" ?

The bug appears to be a crash when unloading the vdpau library, either
via a dl_close() or dl_fini() call. It also affects any application
using the vdpau library, such as mplayer and mythfrontend.
A backtrace from mythfrontend follows:
mythfrontend crash details:
*** Error in `/usr/bin/mythfront
so the root cause of the media-hub issues is thot to be that notifications is a
client of media hub (so lots of create/destroy) which in turn leaves dead objs
on dbus which results in the mutex lock signature seen in comment #4.
There is a fix for this, branches linked.
