Driver worked on 18.04 with some minor glitches (i.e. needed
reinstalling after every kernel upgrade). Does not work at all now. USB
wifi adapter is detected:

I hit this issue today when trying `terraform-provider-libvirt`. So I
spent some time debugging it. Below are my findings.
1. Dir-based pools are affected. I didn't tried with default one as I
created custom storage pool in terraform (`/srv/libvirt/images`). Then I

The patch did not resolve the issue for me, and the bug is still there.
I just upgraded from 18.04 to 20.04 on a Dell Latitude E6230, and there
was no sound output, with the sound settings showing only 'Dumm

What would it take to build the deb myself? I know how to build
packages, but not how to build a i386 deb on my amd64 machine.

Reproduce:
0. Make sure the laptop is being charged by external power.
1. Boot with lid closed (e.g. by starting reboot and close the lid).
2. When login screen presents, login with password
3. Ubuntu 20.10 goes to sleep. Hit a key to wake it. dmesg attached at the end.

FWIW, for distributions which haven't published the fix yet (e.g.
Slackware AFAICS), RIP_MAX_CACHE can be overwritten by adding this line
to cupsd.conf (also editable through CUPS web interface on
localhost:631) :
RIPCache 0
(replace 0 by whatever suits for you).

I ran in to this with Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS when using wired connection. I
turned off Wi-Fi now so I hope that fixes it (as I use wired on this
system). It was taking 25% of CPU time as shown with htop. I shutdown
the service (sudo service wpa_supplicant stop) and then disabled Wi-Fi.
