configuration. The two ext4 partitions hold mirror image installations

with Ubuntu 18.04 and now 20.04 both running as a VM under VirtualBox on
Windows 20.

Same problem here with Lenovo V15-ADA Devices. We do have about 60 laptops and
nearly all show the same behaviour more or less often.
The workaround that helped for me with kernel 5.4.0-54 or lesser was building
the amdgpu kernel modules version 20.30. But with upgrade to kernel 5.4.0-56

The proposed workaround works for me:
1) sudo apt install qt5ct oxygen-icon-theme

We have asked the certification team to help us out and validate that
the new u-boot doesn't regress any Pi devices. I just got news from Paul
that the new u-boot seems to work fine on all the supported hardware.
Now the only thing left is the verification of LP: #1900693. Awaiting
