This looks like Flash bug. Flash is (was?) notoriously buggy with non-
Ascii characters under Linux. So whoever chooses to verify the bug

I would like to second #39. I have a hard time seeing mouse cursors on
my screen since upgrading to Lucid. I have always used the largest
cursor size and now this setting does not work.

I see exactly this bug on updated Karmic. No USB keyboards, nothing.
Simple Dell Latitude D420 laptop with two keyboard layouts, hibernate,
then resume and it starts to act as if there're three layouts: my two
Eng and Rus plus ???. Changing anything in gnome-keyboard-properties
fixes the problem

It turned out this has everything to do with indicator applet vs.
notification area duality in Lucid. So the way to see the bug is:
1) Remove indicator applet from gnome-panel
2) Add notification area to gnome-panel (only if it's not already there)

keyboard shortcut I get a global message box with empty title saying

Whoa, everything was messed up there! Some strange programs as email and
music handlers and empty string as terminal command. I've never used
that dialog though. Fixed, now terminal shortcut works fine both without

This is a regression in Edgy. Gaim 1.x didn't have this problem.
This bug is already fixed upstream (in 2.0.0beta5). So this is actually
a request to update Ubuntu Gaim package. Sorry it it's misfiled.
