`fuser /dev/input/event15` showed a process called mouseemu was holding
on to the device preventing it from working propperly.
Killing that process allows the pad to work correctly it seems though
I'm unsure what caused mouseemu to run in the first place.

I think it might be a permissions issue. It works when I run sudo

Changing to NVIDIA experimental driver hangs
Same issue in chrome. Video area is filled with texture/text from other
webpage upon arrival. A waiting animation is overlayed seemingly in a
random spot, but correctly composited with the underlying left over
texture/text from previous webpage.
Looks like it could be a video card/video driver

supports the relevant version of RandR to allow the system tools to do
it itself.
However, once randr is set via the system tools, nvidia-settings X
Server Display Configuration no longer accurately
I believe I know the source of this problem.

After reading the duplicate candidate, I do not believe this is the same
bug.
As far as I know this bug is specific to 3.x kernels, and is not related
to a symlink problem but rather a compile problem resulting from a
missing symbol 'TS_USEDFPU'

Also, after reading the relevant code, I believe it would not affect
x86_64 as the define guard around it would remove the offending code for
x86_64.

libgstreamermm-0.10 adds a '-' between libgstreamermm and 0.10 where
libgstreamer0.10 does not.

me, not just a question. The issue could either be in the rhythmbox

still having issues trying to add a user. The widget seems to add the
user and then if I close and reopen the user is gone. message from
