The two screenshots above show the difference between two steps of
“opacification”, as described above. I just held the button that
activates scale, then pressed print screen a few times.
As you can see, the windows in the second are visibly more opaque than

Hi Pedro. I've tried re-doing everything about a dozen times to retrieve
the strace above. The calls not working is perfectly reproducible, but I
can't get it to crash again, I'm not sure what triggers that part.

But... shouldn't debug messages be suppressed by default? I've seen
dozens of questions about them, it's confusing because it looks like a

Weird situation. I wanted to look at the sources of Amarok for some
reason, so I did this:
