report, unrar (free) has been renamed as unrar-free and unrar-nonfree is

I've never used the custom color option of FC (I find it a bit odd to
have a color named "custom" along the usual ones, that can vary from
theme to theme), I'm not even sure how I would update the MATE icons to
use it, as I didn't design them in the first place, not sure how/where
to put constants

- I've made all the colors managed by Folder Color, including the ones
added recently (black, magenta, cyan and violet) that are not shown on
my comparison screenshot. Not sure if the current version of FC in

Just made another test: I installed Steam and Faeria on my old laptop
which has a nVidia GPU. I haven't installed the proprietary driver yet,
so I'm on Mesa with Nouveau. Faeria works. I haven't tried Payday 2, as
the required config is far too high for this PC.

Just bought a Sansa Clip+ (Sandisk) MP3 player and I get several errors
like this when transfering files in MTP mode from Rhythmbox. Is the bug
supposed to be fixed?
In my case, Rhythmbox doesn't crash, it just fails to transfer the

Renaming a file in a Samba share to the name of an existing file replaces the
original one without warning. This happens to me in Jaunty, managing Samba

The problem came from the HTML Validator extension and a bug with Firefox 3.0.9
(included in Jaunty).
Until Firefox 3.0.10 is out, it can be fixed by upgrading the extension to ver.
0.8.5.6.
So, not really an Ubuntu bug, sorry for the bug report.

Upgraded to Jaunty yesterday. The problem is still there. As before,
copying a file from the Samba share to the local computer creates the
thumbnail fine. Copying a file with thumbnail in the Samba share keeps
the thumb.
Anyway, it seems that evince-thumbnailer isn't started when browsing a
Samba
I'm not sure how to do. I have a Samba share documents on server. I've
tried the following commands :
evince-thumbnailer smb://server/documents/test.pdf test.jpg
evince-thumbnailer smb://server/documents/test.pdf
smb://server/documents/test.jpg
evince-thumbnailer .gvfs/documents\ on\

My problem was to start XCompMgr (composition manager) before the
softwares that need it, i.e. Avant Window Navigator. I've solved it by
launching the command from the .gnomerc file. As far as I understand,
there is a launch order for these launcher scripts (.gnomerc,
