1) Yes, this is why I quoted bug 997462 in the description.
and 2) yes, same for me with librecad, removing the qt-at-spi solves the
problem !

window, and the application crashes (this can be reproduced). The

mysql logs show tikiwiki can access the DB.
I managed to make it work by changing the paths as in the following diff
file.

If you're booting on the -386 kernel, try the -generic one. I had the
same problem with an integrated Intel 3945 card, and it seems related to
the absence of the (restricted) driver in the -386 tree, while the
driver's present in the -generic tree.
