I have used both mac and pc with linux... the statement about global menu
applies to mac as well... on a wide screen and especially on dual monitors...it
is a very bad design at its basic concept...
Productivity is severely compromised with global menu / mac men

As i recall.. sometime back... when the auto-hide was enabled in ccsm. unity
plugin...the launcher panel would be hidden until moused over and the icons
would shift position when it came out of auto-hide I may be remembering
that wishfully.
Most definitely a visual bug..
before lucid , and since then it is completely broken.
I believe that whomever changed this was coding on a laptop and simply
removed what they thought was useless code !

In all previous version it worked perfectly .

do is determine the resolution of both monitors... example..my total
is 2560x1024, so I either google for images at the resolution or
edit/create one in gimp.

all other options seem to mirror the image on two monitors and span only sets

an old D-Link dsc-350 which doesnt mount or get reconized at all.
As mentioned. all three cameras were recognized and mounted just fine in In

maintain the nvidia settings in xorg and they had to be copied and pasted in .
however, as nicely as this works, it is not enough !!

real quick in alpha 5 there was no logon sound and one of the updates fixed
that,
now in alpha 6 there is again no logon sund but the startup sound is fine.

Hey guys,
hardy Alpha4 clean install
I have noticed that the numlock key never is enabled when starting up and after
I enable it it turns off again after a minute or so.
I cant seem to keep it enabled!
