Both are needed to access the internet for me. There are ISPs out there

The network (IP address, DNS server etc.) does *not* resume after a suspend.

Blacklisting the below modules one after the another individually or all of
them did no good. The hard-block bug is still there. [2]

I installed a fresh copy of Ubuntu 18.04 and everything seems to work
fine, till I suspended and resumed the laptop. After resume, the wifi is
hard blocked is rfkill. Reinstalling drivers, different drivers, nothing
helped. All this was done under Secure Boot disabled under Ub

Should have read more about this mutter thingy. It seems to be a window
manager for Gnome 3, which is metacity for Gnome 2. So libmutter could
not be used for gnome-flashback probably...

Looking at these briefly I can see why this was not implemented at first.
As far as I can tell it is hard to tell which window has the focus right now.
The .js version uses libmutter mutter-3.28.1/src/core/display-private.h, which
has an interesting comment on this:

Can you please link the upstream bug, or the source where I can look

This is very annoying for me, and if it is not very hard I could try
fixing it.

All I can remember is that I was fiddling with the partitions.
At first I was very surprised that there was no 'Encrypt Home' option.
So I thought.. ok then, encrypt the whole disk. But then it also checked the
use LVM option which I don't want.
Why would a simple desktop user want LVM anyways?

entirely and left a window the length of my screen that had no text, but

First I installed 14.04 LTS and tried two different scripts within the
sleep.d folder. Added files 10_touchpad and trackpad and tried to
different scrips I found in the forums. I found a old tip, add
atkbd.reset in grub. I went to support channel on irc and asked there. I

I've just installed Ubuntu-trusty, and noticed that in Thunderbird the
fonts are rendered incorrectly. It seemed that the problem is with sub-
pixel rendering.
After much googling and finding nothing I've started to compare the
/etc/fonts/conf.d dir on my Precise machin with
changed wrong package to fontconfig-config
