Very surprised this bug is not biting a lot of users - eg. when
connecting to a wireless connection via nm_applet, it fails to make a
connection and there is no obvious indication given of what the problem
is. The immediate implication for the niave user (me!) in this case is
that there is a proble

I've also noticed the issue on Gutsy on both my laptop and workstation.
All of the triggering seems to work normally but the trigger text is
deleted and replaced with a tab, in my case 2 spaces.
If I run gedit from the commandline it logs the following to screen...

As a solution for a user (telling them to manually run those commands
isn't a good option) I've made up a little script with the help of some
existing ones and my co-worker.

I can second this bug. It occurred after an update in the stable branch
of Feisty on the 3rd June 2007. Furthermore, using the users and group
applet shows no users in the list, adding one causes the users and
groups application to bomb out.
