RE: Boot options hidden by default on Desktop and Netbook CDs
Hi guys,
Wanted to spread Ubuntu Lucid around family and friends so I downloaded the
desktop and Netbook ISOs (01/06/10), thought I'd test the ISO before burning a
dozen or so CDs. I was not happy with the result. There was not the
-proposed. Thank you in advance!

Worked fine for me. A 1 or 2 point padding either side would improve
appearance. similar to the Date in my screen dump.

Happened today after latest Lucid partial update. Rebooted into new
kernel, started update manager to complete the update, crash reported.

This crash followed another one where I got a message stating there was
not enough memory to create a report to send to the developers. Had just
completed an update and did a reboot.

when returning from standby, Had Firefox open, nothing else. No
noticeable crash.

Just upgraded from Karmic to Lucid. Happened on first reboot, this is
the 2nd time on the 3rd reboot. Gnome Desktop didn't come up on the 2nd
reboot, had to do a recovery repair.

Started Audacity the first time, odd noise and input and output meters went
crazy. Shut down Audacity and restarted it, had just selected monitor mic
again when it crashed.

9.10 Beta AM64, Had left the desktop doing a gnome-app-install, dialogue
window 'new application has been installed' was open when the screen
saver must have started and crashed.
