Sorry for not responding but I didn't want to insult anyone's intelligence. If fixed I would have reported. Just upgraded to 10.04 LTS version and slide show.pps now works. No hang up and black screen. Although it works, still unable to just open slide show and examine or edit slides. Note that

Thanks for replaying. Just wondering if there is a fix for this problem. Annoying thing is that you can't open slide show and examine slides or edit. Like I mentioned before that was okay with old 9.04 version. When you click on slide icon it will open editing screen, now with new 9.10 version it
