There is not any crash, really that last problem I saw changing skin, is
different than I initially reported.
I think this issue can be solved for amsn 0.97.2 (including version from Ubuntu
packages) and also 0.98b from svn.

Hi again, the suggested solution worked for me.
Initially, i had an Ubuntu 8.04 LTS installed with fresh install from Live CD,

I copied the root partition / in to an image file using partimage, and when I

I run dpkg --configure -a and motion is well installed and configured.

First, i think this bug is always fully reproduccible in any computer.
It continues in Gutsy and Hardy KDE 3 version.
I think it is caused by the patch applied to Kubuntu logout screen in order to
make it more beautiful. In other distributions without that patch, this bug is
not present.

My printer HP Deskjet 710c, supported by CUPS and HPLIP, is detected by
Ubuntu 7.10, but not by Kubuntu Hardy.

Permissions on NTFS partitions are not well configured.
Steps:
1) I install Kubuntu Hardy from Desktop CD.
2) During installation i choose manual partitioning and i configure a partition
sdb1 to be used as NTFS and mounted on

I have tested that if I use these options for ntfs partitions in /etc/fstab
this problem is not produced:
rw,user,locale=es_ES.UTF-8 0 0

Hi, I know that Ubuntu can be installed without GRUB using Alternate CD.
But I would like to request for this option in Desktop CD which uses ubiquity
to install.

In KDE, go to Systemsettings - Aparience - Gtk Styles and Fonts, in GTK
Styles box, select what theme you want to use for GNOME aplications.
Start GNOME session and see if theme is aplied.
