This is a small packaging problem. To get rid of the error you can
safely remove libreoffice-emailmerge with dpkg (it is a transitional
package, which means that it contains nothing, as it is now integrated
in libreoffice-common package).
After this, reinstall libreoffice-common with synaptic or a
Hi,
This is just a guess, but according to this mailing list post:

the firmware files downloaded from gitweb are getting corrupted due to a bug in
gitweb.

Hi, you should file a separate bug report, as the problem you are

this bug seems to have been fixed in feisty.

I tried the Herd 3 CD, and the bug is fixed for me as well!
(8x agp, and no freeze. no additional tweaks needed.)
Thanks to everyone who contributed :)

Quash: so the new package fixes it for you? Did you try it with the
bios speed set to 8x, dri enabled, and no Option "AGPMode" "8" in
xorg.conf? (which would have gaurnteed a freeze before, right)
Just curious because my preliminary test of the new package didn't fix

It doesn't seem to work for me. I upgraded my edgy to feisty, (I now
have xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.6.2-0ubuntu6) and I still get the same
symptoms (freeze when agp speed set to 8x in BIOS and DRI enabled in
xorg.conf, no freeze if DRI disabled or AGP speed set to auto in
BIOS).
I'll try again wi

I marked this as a duplicate of bug #67487 - posted there about a new
workaround I found (setting agp speed to 4x in the bios) which seems to
be allowing others to use the livecd as well.

Monika, I'm curious if you would also be able to get it working if, when
