Hi all,
just an update: KRadio 4.0.4 has just been released to fix a buffer
alignment issue which caused a segfault within libffmpeg for some
architectures with sse2 instruction set (e.g. on Intel Atom (TM)
netbooks. Furthermore, the compatibility with icecast/shoutcast streams
has been improved.
Hi all,
to my (current) knowledge, this bug is not an issue of the V4L1 API dropped in
recent Linux kernels, since particularly KRadio supports V4L2. Furthermore,
even mplayer does not solve the problems on such systems.
Those V4L2 drivers seem to report an invalid frequency range (0 to 0 Hz).
I am also experiencing this:

Funnily enough on older Ubuntu releases : this file is correctly
associated with libreoffice/openoffice AND it can be successfully opened
with file-roller (as docx files are zip files). But on Oneiric the file
is wrongly associated with file-roller and file-roller cannot even
handle the same file..
$ file -i test2.docx
test2.docx: application/zip; charset=binary

Hello Sebastien,
Thanks for looking into this. I don't have a xorg.conf but my
/etc/default/keyboard was indeed wrong (it is attached below). I've
fixed it by copying a pre-upgrade /etc/default/keyboard and have no idea
how those layout changes have been put there...
Best regards.

If you try to install xvba-va-driver with fglrx-updates, it wants to install
fglrx instead.
xvba-va-driver depends on fglrx-driver which fglrx-updates provides so I'm not
really sure why...

No package in Oneiric provides /usr/lib/libxcb-atom.so.1, this was built from
xcb-util in Natty.
(Also was important enough to be in ia32-libs.)
I found it when I tried to run World of Goo, it complains about a missing
dependency.
