the package shows up. It would be good if gm-notify
I'm reopening and deduplicating this bug. The default set of launchers
are now well established. However if you look at the attached screenshot
we now have orange launchers for Ubiquity, Nautilus, Firefox,
LibreOffice Impress, the Software Centre and Ubuntu One.
I've got nothing against orange,

Note that when this happens I can no longer drag any maximised windows
(it's not just a single window that refuses to drag). Unmaximised
windows can be moved as normal. Also worth saying that I can drag the
maximised window if I hold Alt and drag it's body.

Application at front of screen but not
So the bug exhibited in Screenshots 3 and 4 is fixed thanks to work on
Bug #599535.
However we still have the problem seen in Screenshot 2, where the icon
is shown without the red. Screenshot 1 is how the Audacity icon should
look.

Thanks for the photo Octavian, it illustrates the problem very well. It
looks like the wallpaper was initially rendered stretching across both
screens, rather than once on each screen.
This is the same in my photos, but it's not as clear.

The behaviour you describe is now implemented in Unity, so I assume this
was posted before that was released.
You may be interested in Bug #755357 which is effectively a follow on to

This is on a dual monitor setup (not sure if that's relevant) with a
Radeon HD 3450. It's reproducible every time I restart. The image is
fine on the second monitor.
I can't take a screenshot of this using gnome-screenshot because it
disappears
