This only happens to me if 'Banshee' or 'All' is selected in the music lens
sources.
I don't have Banshee installed so I think it shouldn't be visible in the
sources. That would probably solve the problem.

After swapping faulty disk and booting Ubuntu, I could check syncing progress
with dmsetup status.
After this was done, status with dmraid -s still was 'nosync'.

I already fixed this with a live cd..
While upgrading grub, there was an error that grub couldn't be installed
to /dev/dm-5. That is the partition Ubuntu is installed on.
How to prevent this in the future?
I'm using fakeraid 10.
