When I added an xorg.conf file the fallback errors went away. I am
thinking there may be some issue with Xorg loading the correct drivers??

I can get to MATE but the DE crashes. It pops up with a blank error box
then goes in and out. I am attaching my logs and a screenshot.

By setting my DefaultDepth to 16 on my xorg.conf file I was able to get
3D working. However I believe this is a work around.

I got 3D working on my iBook G4 by setting my DefaultDisplay to 16 in my
xorg.conf file. However compiz crashes when I try to start it. attaching
my log files.

I just performed an apt-get upgrade and rebooted my system and now mate-
