I'm going to mark this bug as confirmed since I check that it doesn't occured
with nv driver.
Increasing my swap partition size would workaround the issue but the bug really
exist !

I found a better way to avoid the delay. Just edit a launcher that cause
the delay and comment the line X-GNOME-Autostart-Phase=*. For Intreprid
these launchers are gnome-wm.desktop and libcanberra-login-
sound.desktop. Enjoy the difference.

I tried pm-suspend from VT1 : the screen goes empty with a blinking
dash. However there wasn't any messages that appears in any VT.
I still was able to swith to different VT (til I didn't go to VT7) and pressing
Enter made line appears below the pm-suspend command.

I've got a trouble that I tink is directly related to this bug.
When my screen is lock (idle time or resume), I see the screensaver, enter my
password, and the screensaver keeps running like a kind of animated wallpaper.
I just have to kill the process to be able to use my computer normally.
Does it prevent you to use your computer normally after the lock of the
screen ? This may be related to bug #338371 or bug #336592

Thanks for the results. In fact lspci only report internal hardware. I don't
have any external PCI-E devices and didn't know how to get information for
these. Can you try this command that should return expected information please
(with the docking station pluged in) ?

I sew this problem one two different computers :
A Toshiba using snd-atiixp module :
- When it try to play a sound, the sound was horrible (there was some kind of
echo and it was play very slowly)
- It disconnect the wifi connection and prevent it to reconnect (even when no
playing sound anymore

I just used gparted to reduce the size of a partition on an external usb drive
on Intrepid up to date and the partition was mounted during the processus.
In some cases, gparted fail to modify the partition because of this and I had
to stop hal daemon to work with gparted.

While ubiquity was copying files on the target, only sda10 was mount, whereas
when the bug occured, there was more partitions:

I founded a workarounded : just unmount the unneded partitions in the following

The bios is able to boot on CD and I can see Ubuntu menu and chose to boot
Ubuntu live CD.

I can't connect to an open AP using iwl3945 in hardy (2.6.24-10), but it works

I'm using Gutsy, and it's up-to-date.
Once month ago, I was able to print to my bluetooth HP printer, after added
very easily this with new system-config-printer.
However, if the printer is OK, and the setup of system-config-printer too, it's
not working anymore.

The result is bellow. If one part of the bug (hp:/ URI) is a duplicate
