I'm seeing this as well: after upgrading to 15.04, I sometimes don't get
automatically connected to my default network, because it hasn't been
found yet. A manual 'sudo iwlist scan' is needed to get it to find the
network, upon which it does automatically connect.

I'm not sure about this bug, I just did a dist-upgrade to upgrade the
kernel from 3.13.0-41 to 3.13.0-43 in the terminal window, and the bug-

Probably the way to go is to request a backport to the Ubuntu 14.10
kernel, and then we get the backport for free on 14.04 when the updated
hardware enablement makes the 14.10 kernel available to 14.04 LTS.

I tested with the mainline kernel. As long as I let do not use ldap in hosts
property of nsswitch.conf, the kernel boots. If I add ldap, then the system no

massive memory leak in un
I built kdelibs with the patch, exported the KDE_UTF8_FILENAMES and it
seems to work as advertised: strange chars are replaced by boxes on the
filenames, but I can rename and delete them sucessfully.
I'll keep using the patch on one of my machines to see if there are any
other issues.
