I uploaded an updated package into Hardy. This one implements an
AZUREUS_JAVA environment variable you can set before launching Azureus,
which will cause Azureus to use the JVM you specified. (For list of
ideas, try update-alternatives --list java)

This release is not perfect and may be a regression from previous
releases. Phoronix reports mixed success, not to mention xorg.conf needs
to change a bit (un-disable composite extensions), video flickering in

Just an update, I have fixed the said annoyance by disabling the SWT
check in the source. I cleaned out my Azureus tree and only got an
update for azupdater, which applied successfully. Subsequent startups
did not have nagging updates or errors.

The new ATI driver 8.40.4 is out today. It adds an x86-64 binary for
their control center, the ability to adjust dual-display/TV-OUT settings
via their control
Thanks for the feedback. I'd like to wait for a few more success

Thanks for the bug report. This is a duplicate of bug #130300, which was
fixed yesterday in Gutsy. I'd like to wait for a bit confirmation that
it is fixed in Gutsy, then I will backport it to all Ubuntu
Approved for backporting to Dapper, Edgy, and Feisty to fix reported
crash-on-exits.

The blocker is that the license for the 4.x.x/5.x.x series of Bittorrent
are under a restrictive license with regards to mirroring and
distribution and other aspects, making it difficult for us to
redistribute it.

I should also add, with that said, it wouldn't be overly difficult to
implement UPnP abilities on top of gnome-btdownload, which might be
worth our interest to do and commit upstream.
Personally I'd love to see a standardized UPnP client that can be called
with Dbus which other apps can use too,
