I can verify that this is fixed with the latest nVIDIA beta driver.

I am also having this issue. I'm using the latest nvidia driver with a
fresh install of Ibex on a new laptop.

Yeah I found it odd because it actually locks up the system, not just
the firefox process. There are other websites that do this for me (as I
mentioned, farechase.yahoo.com after I submit a search), but that one is
pretty consistent.
I noticed a bunch of these in my Xorg.log when
I can confirm this as well.
It worked fine initially when I upgraded to Heron (it didn't work at all
in Feisty), but after the recent kernel updates, it no longer works.
I hope this can make it into the final release!
