-a -G vboxusers [USERNAME]` + reboot.
After this clicking on (+) in Virtual Box's USB menu I got a list of all

This is a regression bug as I have no problems with another laptop
running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
Trying to access Samba file share on my Synology Diskstation
(smb://diskstation.local) gives me just "Failed to retrieve file list
from server: Software caused connection abort". See
It seems that this bug was originally about Ubuntu 14.04.
I now tested that on Ubuntu 18.04 this works like it should. The
shutdown can be canceled and in addition there's an info text saying
that the machine will automatically shut down in 60 secs.

Ok, I now managed to get a journalctl log of this.
Same thing again after switching the user in the morning: the
credentials dialog on black background didn't accept my password and I
had to click around 50 times cancel to get rid of it.

but the desktop refuses to resize. This was working previously. Entering
full screen however works and doesn't crash the system.

Wayland project (and hence categorized as such in their Bugzilla),
libinput may also be used under Xorg with a separate wrapper driver. And

Identical issue here on MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009) aka model
MacBookPro5,5 using Ubuntu 18.04 final release.
I can also attest that this issue does not only affect Ubuntu. Fedora 27
exhibits the same symptoms for me.

We have just released 0.45.1 which fixes a grave Debian bug #892956.
This bug is serious enough that Ubuntu should either distro patch the
fix in their current version or transition to 0.45.1. The latter is a

Hardware is HP Zbook Studio G3 with two nvme devices in m.2 slots.
I was running three Virtualbox clients while two of them hung. Those two
which hung were on same nvme disk while the one which remained in
operation was another nvme disk.

above holds true, if Linux is chosen in Bios, then pinctrl_cherryview.ko
will load just fine and U
I f I enable CONFIG_PINCTRL_CHERRYVIEW=m in 4.4-rc7 then it won't boot.
