Public bug reported:
if I open a second tab and work with it in gedit,
the scroll handler vanishes as soon as I move the mouse pointer over it. I
can't scroll the window's contents up and down by mouse.

the mouse near the

this is not reflected in the emerald package (and even not in the
emerald source, so this actually needs a code change to emerald as far
as I see it).

How to reproduce:
- launch etracer (package extremetuxracer)
- after about half a level, the graphics start glitching and "EQ overflowing"

I initially ran into this with the "X-Plane" closed-source program, it
runs into issues more quickly. Simpl

after next reboot - loose loose loose.
Switched back to poor graphics with radeon blacklisted to have at least a
base system working.

The debian bug report 265265 says it was fixed seven years ago in
fp-compiler_1.9.4-5.
I tested today in debian 6.0 with fp-compiler_2.4.0-2 and binutils was missing.
So either it takes more than seven years to get this into stable, or the same
bug is back.

Btw. debian got a bug report for this problem years ago
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=265265
and thought it was fixed, but it isn't.
I just checked that their problem is still there and opened a new bug:
