I used the kernel 3.6.2-030602-generic from the link in comment #6 and i
can say that this kernel is really stable and I am no more experiencing
the suspend bug on using it ( At least in last five days and numerous
instances of supend ) . So, I am going to mark the bug as "confirmed" as

I am actually able to reproduce the bug. This bug occurs to me only when
I pull out the LAN cable from my laptop while the system is going into
the suspended mode. So I am going ahead to try the latest upstream

This bug was like once in a while for me. I have not experienced it
again since that crash. So, I am not sure whether upgrading to the

I opened the Appearance settings by right clicking on desktop and
selecting change desktop background. The new window of Appearance
settings opens in maximized state. If I try to un-maximize it by
clicking on square button ( [] ) , it goes in un-maximized state but

The problem persists if I revert both 1) /etc/lightdm/unity-greeter.conf
and 2) the default background file ( /usr/share/backgrounds/warty-final-
ubuntu.png ) to original state. It means the bug should affect all

gparted hangs when encountered error in ntfsresize

I am sorry I can't test this with gparted 0.12.0 as I have already
corrected the ntfs partition by running chkdsk /f /r using my windows
installation and the drive is showing no error now even with gparted.
But I think, the problem occured due to enormous amount of error.
