Aurora, LibreOffice, Evince, and a bunch of other apps, but is scrolling
correctly in Gedit and Nautilus. Hope this helps. :)

I assume from the apport info, that this auto-bugreport is referencing
the crash. I had merely clicked on another open window (gedit) and -
zip - Firefox vanished. Upon re-opening FF (no auto-restart) I went to
history dropdown hoping to 'restore previous session' but that

Starting May 1st, my system occasionally boots into, or crashes into, a

saving a file in the gui, eg.
Here's a mountall crash log. Will this help?

Is it possible your system has booted into a read-only file-system mode? (I've
already reported that bug, and Mozilla won't respond either, presumably since
it can't write any session or cache files )
Is it consistent upon multiple reboots? (mine is only intermittent, usually it
boots ok)
I have almost the same issue, but not in a Live Session. I upgraded to 12.04
LTS via 11.10 and 12.04 Beta2.
Now I always receive a Duplicate sources.list entry error whenever I apt-get
update. (I update daily.)
I'm on an amd64 machine and don't know where the i386_Packages file in
oops.. ... reappeared in /var/lib/apt/lists. Btw, I no longer have a
prerequists-sources.list in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
