I was more concerned about the search results in the Ubuntu Software
Centre than the Unity Dash.
Does the Ubuntu Software Centre only search a mega collection of
*.desktop files?
If not, the two are returning results using different approaches for returning
search results.

process for each language (see attached screen capture) and I have found out
