thunderbird as email client, the libreoffice's "send file/pdf per email"
doesn't attach the file/pdf.

I will try to
swapoff -a for now to see if it mitigate the problem. I gave the VM 2 more
gigabytes of RAM
to reduce the need for swapping.

Since then, this laptop model ASUS UX533F is supported by Ubuntu 18.04 LTS as
far as I know.
Last time I tried, this parameter had to be added to the Linux kernel command

In April 2020, I switched to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, which works with this
laptop model ASUS UX533F.

nfs mount point failed to mount, and I also never get an Ip address on

miserably failed right after selecting "Try Ubuntu" in the GRUB menu.
- download the 64-bit PC (AMD64) desktop image and write it on a USB key with dd
- boot the laptop from the USB key

Everything was running quite fine with stock kernel during about one
week, while I was having 16G RAM in the laptop. Yesterday, I upgraded
RAM to 32G. Now the thunderbolt link flaps
Thanks to Alberto I can confirm the nvidia-384 (nvidia-graphics-
drivers-384 - 384.130-0ubuntu0.16.04.2~ppa1 ) from the nvidia-driver-
staging ppa works on the customer image.
But we still have other dkms modules that still cannot be built
properly. The new kernel can't be then installed.

For unknown reason my gpg-agent crash frequently, I use it for enable-
ssh-support in order to use ssh keys via smart keys Yubico
gpg2 --card-status
restart it without problem.
Is was working fine.
Could you give me hint to diagnose the problem, please?
