You received this bug
Just installed LO 3.4.2 following the instructions on this page:
http://www.libre-software.net/how-to-install-libreoffice-on-ubuntu-
linux-mint
Now the presenter console controls work fine. So it's definitely a bug
in the packages which are in the repo.

For any bug related to the presenter console, I fixed mine by upgrading
to LO 3.4.2 following the instructions on this page:
http://www.libre-software.net/how-to-install-libreoffice-on-ubuntu-
linux-mint
Now it works flawlessly.

I don't know, I don't use Bibus nor do I have any need for it. Perhaps
if I have time somewhere this weekend, I'll install it and see what it
does. I'm a bit cautious though because I need LO to work flawlessly for
my work. And since I finally managed to get the presenter plugin
Pedro, thanks for commenting on this bug I filed over a year ago. While
I'd love to help you by providing the information you asked, I upgraded
F-spot to 0.7.3 over the past year and the problem doesn't seem to be
present in that version.

Well... after more than five (!) years (are there awards for longest
standing bugs anywhere?), I noticed I'm not visiting that many sites
anymore which use Java. And when I do visit them, Java is not working at
all most of the time (e.g. map24.com - interactive map). At least we've
gone from
