using Ubuntu Hardy on Gnome now, I can't reproduce it either. I guess
the problem is solved, but I have no way of trying it in KDE.

hardly reproducible, as it happens - at least in my case - at kde

Thanks for the answer; I did switch, but actually did not experience any
printing problems except with a very large pdf file (2.5 mb). When I
tried to print that, gs loaded up the processor, but it wasn't able to
chew it through. I had to empty the printer queue.

of the ordinary, and saw the message of the crash handler. There are
similar reports, but I while file a bug so that any fresh info from my
machine is provided.
