You should really consider lowering the opening/close animations to 200
and minimize to 300. The animations are so quick at this point they
seem to stutter. I have a decent graphics card and have been running
Compiz some time. These settings are quite nice. This gives a nice
transitioning

elimate a bug in Firefox. I myself, personally, never use the murrine
engine for theming my scrollbars, as you are very limited. The only
detrimental effect is the loss of system-wide color theming to the

All of the test packages were contiuously crashing pulseaudio causing it
to restart while event sounds were activated and a stream of music was

The kernel panics have been mitigated as far as I can see. I've been
using linux-restricted-modules 2.6.27-11.15, including the latest
Broadcom blob wl 5.10.27.11, from intrepid-proposed since 12/19. The
sporadic flashing caps and number lock flashes (kernel panics) are gone.

I believe I've narrowed the cause of the crash down to the File Transfer
Window activating (Alt +F), manually or automatic, initiates the crash
of the entire application on a consistent basis. Compiz has no effect

That did the trick for me constantly losing my Microsoft 5000 Bluetooth

Yes, it is working flawlessly. Wasn't working until I installed bluez-
input.
Here's my /etc/default/bluetooth :

Just an F.Y.I., fresh install of Intrepid 32 bit. I added the above
schema gconftool-2 --install-schema-file=libcanberra.schemas from
libcanberra-0.10 without building the new version and most of the system
sounds are working for me. The only one that seems to be missing is a
click event from

Thank you, libcanberra 0.10 is working flawlessly with the latest
pulseaudio version in Ibex. I'm us 64 bit version. I recommend this
for an upgrade to get event sounds working again. I am still testing
but all seems to be working as normal.

What flags did you use for installation of 0.10? I built and installed
from source with no problems, but there was no gconf entery under
/schemas/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/gtk-modules.

Confirmed for a BCM 4328 (Dell XPS m1530), which does work in Hardy. Wl
driver shows up in restricted drivers manager, but does not show in
network manager.

bcm4328 chipset not supported by hardy heron
The Broadcom driver for 4318 works flawlessly on the BCM4328. I
installed it via restricted drivers manager on Hardy and built the LKM
on Intrepid. Better signal strength, connects fasters on start
up/suspend.

modules-2.6.24-20-generic my Broadcom BCM4328 is showing in the
