I am seeing this bug in Lucid, with all updates applied.
It spawns a new gnome-gnuchess process every time Game - New is
clicked. If happens, when I start a new game, without ending (resign,
claiming draw, etc) the current game. After doing this a few times, I

Sometimes, after a resume, the fan runs at full speed until the system
is completely shutdown. Another suspend/resume won't resolve this issue.
Analysis
/proc/acpi/fan/FAN(0|1|2|3)/state give the state of the fan. After a resume,
the bios activates the fan at full speed.

I can confirm that this bug no longer happens to me. After upgrading to
Ibex, I did not have to use any workaround to get my usb devices

Yes, pulseaudio does seem to be the problem. I managed to fix it by a
coincidence.

mode, tried uploading. My picasa password was saved so it appeared begin

The bug is easily reproduced in my comp too with same presentation and
happens with some others too. I found my Xorg taking about 800 MB of
memory and OpenOffice itself went up to about 600. The amount of memory
in use increases as we spend more time on the slide show.

Hi I think you can solve this problem by simply removing the ehci_hcd
module from the kernel.
You can do that with sudo rmmod ehci_hcd. Unfortunately it seems to be
necessary to do this on every reboot.

the application texmaker. For instance, typing texmaker unused won't
generate the exception. Whereas texmaker alone systematically produces

My keyboard is a Logitech Internet Pro Keyboard and it is PS2.
The problem is that to print an apostrophe I need to use
AltRight+(apostrophe key) and AltRight+Shift+(apostrophe key) for
printing double quotes. Without the AltRight I get only accent marks and
