I think there multiple seperate issues being talked about here.
The initial bug talks about no results,
then there's the no email/just emails indexed issue

I just wanted to let so. know that the applet isn't working on Acer TM
8100 series as well.
When you hover you get: "Cannot get laptop panel brightness"
Should I open a seperate bug? (I always use the Fn keys anyways, but
