I upgraded my laptop from ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 ever since. My laptop
will not wake up from suspend. I tried booting lubuntu 20.04 and xubunt
22.04 and still have the problem. ubuntu 20.04 will not boot from a usb.
I want to reset my bios back to default but am scared to brick
Agreed that suggesting 18.04 is invalid as of today (02/03/18) as it
isn't released yet. Nor is it an actual issue with Ubuntu, but with
Firefox and Stylish.
However, it doesn't seem to occur with 58 and Stylish 3 so it's
hopefully been left behind.

I have just tried restarting gnome-shell a few times lead to 100% CPU
and couldn't recover from within X. I did ++, login,
tried to kill gnome-shell (which failed to resolve anything the X server
seemed to be toast as the windows were partially visible but not
responsive to anything), then "sudo s

behaviour pattern to see it, but I had seen an issue with gnome-shell
and ran Alt-F2 then r to restart gnome-shell - which I have recently
noticed sometimes causes graphic artefacts.

Well, I clicked 'Enable Wireless' in the plasma widget a few times to
switch wireless on and off, and now it is eventually working again, even
after a reboot. Not sure what was happening but it seems to have gone
away.

I have the same behaviour and don't have a wacom tablet. I can't post
from the machine with the problem because my only internet access is
wireless and I need kded to access that, so I can't add any information.
How does one disable the "wacom tablet" service?

The problem is that the package linux-headers-generic wasn't installed.
I used the alternate installer for this PC, whereas on PCs where I've
used the graphical installer this problem does not occur. So I think
it's an installer bug.

Without pulse installed, any app that doesn't use phonon can't play any
sound at all. This appears to be because the default ALSA routing is
through pulse. Epic Fail.
