kernel HPET_emulated was true or false.
For me, 2.6.24 had it HPET_emulated disabled and rtc wakeup worked OK. With
2.6.26 HPET_emulated was true and it never waked up, althought the alarm time

Well, just an update: you can disable hpet by adding hpet=disable to the kernel
boot line in grub's menu.lst.
I added that hpet=disable to the kernel and no luck. The PC didn't wakeup.

Same problem here. However I have to rmmod ndiswrapper, modprobe ndiswrapper
and /etc/init.d/networking restart for the Wifi to work. Just doing the network
restart doesn't solve the problem.

Same here: With feisty I had my rt61 (working with ndiswrapper; rt61pci really
never worked for me) manually configured to automatically be brought up and
connect to my wifi network.
Now with intrepid (also using ndiswrapper; I blacklisted rt61pci), on bootup
the interface doesn't connect.
You could just try to blacklist that module by adding
blacklist modulename
in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
For instance I have rt61pci blacklisted that way to use ndiswrapper.

Ooops, it does work indeed. I just tried removing all the devices, pluging the
MP3 in and pressing autodetect. Sorry for the confusion. And thanks for the fix.

I think there are two issues:
First: I can't connect at all using the free driver for RaLink: I can't
even connect to unhidden unprotected networks! So this would be the free
driver development issue.
Second: NM seems to be screwed (only for certain chips?). NM is not ok
from version -15
Since nm version 0.6.5-15 (this version included) I can't connect to my hidden
WEP-secured network. It worked fine with -14 version (the one included in Gutsy
Beta).
I use a Conceptronic C54Ri and I have never been able to connect to this
network using the rt61pci drivers contained in the

clean upgrade to Gutsy final release wireless doesn't work but then I down
grade all nm related packages to -14 version and... voilá wireless works again.

problems that showed up when starting from the console are also gone. I am

This is still happening as of version 0.2~r674918-0ubuntu3 (current Gutsy's
version).
I tried removing the knetworkmanagerrc file and the program still keeps
forgetting the hidden ESSID (even though the passwork and the ESSID name were
and still are storaged in kdewallet).

The issue seems to be fixed with gs-gpl, since I'm now able to print to PDF
the .ps file I had attached the first time when I reported the problem.

the oodict assistant. It happens to me every time I try to launch that
assistant. I'm using Feisty's stock ooo version (2.2.0). This doesn't happen in
Window's (2.2.0) ooo version.
