This has been happening to me, using Kopete, with a friend of mine that
uses Pidgin, for a few months now. It should be a simple fix once you
look at the code...

The bug is still standing. I found out that the author has released
several upgrades that have not been added to Ubuntu:

The current version is 0.6.2, but Gutsy has version 0.2.1-1!

I can confirm every comment in this thread. It's annoying, like a few
other things in Gusty... I hope it doesn't pile up with other
outstanding Feisty bugs that made it into this version.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdevelop
The inline syntax error mark (red circle with white 'X' inside) shows up
when I type the obviously correct code:
void foo(float a, float b)
{
if (a*b 0) // HERE
a = -a;
}
I've tried different variations of this and they all do the same.
Thanks Kees. In the provided link, it says that it's best to apply the
smallest possible changes to the code in order to fix the problem. In
this case, I believe the simplest solution is packaging the new version.
Would that be accepted too?

Outdated libglui-dev segfaults in text box edit
I believe only the upstream bug report has been rejected. This means
that the problem is not related to the software itself, but only with
the packaging. Therefore, Istanbul developers need not be bothered with
it.
BTW, the workaround seems to work for me too.

There are some similar, non-kde packages like network-manager and

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: libkdtree++-dev
libkdtree++-dev produces compilation erros with recent versions of g++,
like 4.0. Version 3.4 works fine, though. Here is my compiler output:
g++ -c -Wall -Wno-deprecated -g -DDEBUG -Iinclude -I/usr/include/GL//include
I forgot to add this. The code that launches the errors is as simple as
the following:
#include stdlib.h
#include iostream
#include vector
#include set

Only gcc/g++ version 3.4 can be used to compile even the test program.

Without touching anything, the wlan started working today... Maybe it

Anyway, problem solved, just don't know how.
Thanks for the suggestion, Ben.

As reported in the related (duplicated?) bug, I fixed the problem by
editing my xorg.conf, but this is likely to break in the next
reconfiguration of xserver-xorg. The changes, anyway, follow:
