i think it would only be usefull if you could make a directory on your USB stick a UDF (user defined folder) which is harder if you make it cross platform, because windows mounts the USB differently then ubuntu i suppose... though i haven't given this much thought... i haven't really tried

i get a similar error during startup. usb 4-1: device descriptor read/64, error -110 the 4-1 and /64 part have various numbers... this increases the boot by a lot... i have ubuntu 8.10 fully updated.. have an usb mouse (logitec) have an usb wireless router. but they both work perfectly
